The Garage is a favorite restaurant of Jackson Hole locals and visitors alike. This great restaurant has a diverse menu with meals to suit anyone. The interior decorations carry a sense of elegance and history. The Rustic Inn at Jackson Hole definitely recommends The Garage for families staying at our Jackson Hole hotel.
The history of The Garage dates back to the second World War. Originally the building housed The Livingston Motor Company but was converted to a restaurant in 1977. The building was remodeled in 2003, adding elegance to the dining experience. The owners did not want to lose the building’s sense of history so they perfectly preserved many automotive items from the shop to use as decoration. There are old car doors hanging from the walls, old visibile gas pumps, and photos of old Chevys in the booths. Everywhere you turn you can see a piece of this building’s rich history.
While the ambiance is certainly worth noting, people come here for the food. Chef Michael Burke has created a diverse menu that showcases various cooking styles. Guests of the Rustic Inn at Jackson Hole have had great reviews of some of his dishes, especially the filet. The Garage offers an extensive wine list, but our guests rave about the delicious specialty drinks that mare made with some extra Jackson Hole flare.
No matter who is in your party, The Garage has plenty to offer. There are great kids menu items which makes it an ideal location for family dinner in Jackson Hole. The Garage is also a classy establishment, and can be a romantic spot for a date night dinner.
